TMI Bett 2024
After 2 editions taking place in March, the Bettshow moved back to the end of January and on the 25th of this month we organised for the 7th time the International focused Teachmeet. Arjana and Bart gave the floor to 8 speakers coming from outside the UK. In the second part the colleagues of the UK continued with another series of speakers.
Year after year, the Teachmeet at BETT gets more recognition from the audience and from the organisers of the Bettshow.
We dare say it was a top edition, thanks in the first place to our speakers.
TMI Bett 2023
The Teachmeet of BETT 2023 took place on the afternoon of Thursday 30 March 2023. Since last year we have the format of the two sessions with a break in between. The first part has a more international focus with speakers coming, in most cases, from outside the UK. Arjana and Bart hosted again this Teachmeet International Focus. After the break the UK team of Dawn Hollybone hosted the second part with a majority of UK speakers.
And we had again an open bar with free drinks. Yes, teachers also met at this Teachmeet.
TMI Bett 2022
After a year of absence due to the pandemic, the Bett Show could open its doors again at ExCel in London. For the first time the two Teachmeet sessions that had been previously on the Bett programme, merged into one event. Arjana and Bart started with the Teachmeet International Focus). After the break the UK team of Dawn Hollybone hosted the second part with the original Teachmeet. The event took place on Thursday 24 March 2022 at 4.30 pm.
The Teachmeet International Bett made part of the After School Club stream Bettfest programme and took place on Thursday 21 January 2021 at 7 pm CET (6 pm UK Time).
Due to Covid 19 the event took place online. With more than 500 registrations the event was a huge success, also thanks to the amazing talks of our speakers.
TMI Bett 2020
The third Teachmeet International at BETT London 2020 was again a very successful edition:
17 amazing teachers from 12 countries from 3 continents + 4 brilliant secondary school students from London shared their ideas, initiatives and examples of best practice with a packed Schools Theater at ExCel London. Our speakers talked about their award-winning projects, MOOCs, eTwinning collaboration, coding, assessment, future classroom labs, 21st century competences and much more.
The organization of the TeachMeet International was impeccable. Our heartfelt thanks go to:
– BETT for their full tech support and the open bar
– eTwinning UK at British Council for goodie bags for our presenters.
TMI Bett 2019
The second edition of the TMI Bett took place on Wednesday 23 January 2019. We have a line-up of 13 presenters coming from 10 different countries. And again we had a full room with people attending and meeting with other colleagues in this international teachers’ staffroom.
